Terms of Service

Welcome to Vend402 ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Vend402 website, catalog, playground, or beta faucet ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Beta Service

Vend402 is currently in public beta. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice.

2. x402 Payments

The Service facilitates HTTP 402 ("x402") micropayments in USDC on Base. All payments are settled on-chain and are final and non-refundable. You are responsible for the wallet, keys, and funds you use. We do not custody user funds.

3. Beta Faucet

The "Claim $1" faucet distributes testnet USDC on Base Sepolia for evaluation purposes only. Claims are one-per-wallet and one-per-email, rate-limited per IP, and may be revoked or denied at our sole discretion. Testnet tokens have no monetary value.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) abuse the faucet via multiple identities or proxies; (b) attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service; (c) list APIs that are illegal, fraudulent, or violate third-party rights; (d) use the Service to launder funds or evade sanctions.

5. Listed APIs

API publishers are solely responsible for their endpoints, uptime, and the content they return. Vend402 does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any listed API. Buyers transact directly with publishers via x402.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vend402 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost funds, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
